The Nike of Samothrace statue, the Greek goddess of Victory, or also called Winged Victory of Samotrace, is a Greek marble sculpture that was created around the 2nd cebtury BC. It is considered the greateast masterpiece of the Hellenistic sculpture and one of the most famous sculptures in the world.It is discovered and published in 1863 on the island of Samothrace.
The sculptor of the masterpiece is unknown, the archeologists suggest that it was probably Pythokritos of Lindos.
