Bust of great Pericles, handmade statue by the method of casting plaster. A unique museum replica of the marble original masterpiece, dated at 430 BC. A roman copy is conserved in
Museo Rio – Clementino of Vatican. It bears the inscription "Pericles, son of Xanthippus, Athenian".

Pericles (495 – 429 BC was the prominent and influential Greek statesman, orator and general of Athens during the Golden Age.
