Ceiling fans trap pet hair surprisingly well. I turn off the fan and use a pillowcase over each blade to pull most hair inside when I slide it off. For the remaining dust and fine hairs adhesive on an extension works best. Taping lint roller for pet hair to a broom handle lets me reach up and roll each blade—it grabs the hair cleanly without climbing repeatedly. Takes about ten minutes and stops the hair shower when the fan’s back on.
